I left Switzerland with Frankenstein, deciding to go on the journey to England with him to observe and monitor his progress in my future wife. I moved with great caution along the Rhine river, I lived through horrid conditions in the hearths of England and upon the deserts of Scotland, and experienced hunger, thirst, and bitter weather conditions. Then when I decided to take a look at what he had created during all that time, I am faced with him destroying the only thing that holds a lingering, dim, but glowing light of hope. He destroys the basis of what would have been the only thing that would ever have the capacity to love me!
As I entered the hut in which he had been working in, he looked at me with terrifying eyes, but he wasn’t surprised to see me, it was as if he had been expecting me but still his terror was not well hidden. I smiled a crooked, devilish smile at him and fed off of his dread. I looked around and saw there, half finished, what would become of my future companion. But just as soon as I took a glance at my possible lover, Frankenstein, that wretched human, ran to the creature and destroyed her! Oh how my insides stirred, and my hopes and dreams shattered into a million pieces! I could not stand the sight of that miserable incident, and so I withdrew with a heavy heart and anger in my soul. How could he?! Just as easy as he made me that promise, he broke it just as effortless.

Well done Cecilia!!
ReplyDeleteSince your character is the creature you were able to capture the pain of being an outcast and not having anyone to share yourjourney with. You feel betrayed and ostracised
I am terribly sorry my creation, but I am worried that you and your "companion" will spread more terror and destroy more humans. If this new creation is born, I believe the consequences will be completly devastating. And also, what if this new creation would not like you like you think it will, I am terribly sorry, but I could not have tooken the chance

[nice job Cecy! I can feel the emotion (and i felt a little guilt as my character) and tell the creature is devastated.]
That made me tear up a bit! Haah! But seriously I enjoyed reading this! You captured his inner thoughts perfectly. I honestly think that that is what the creature would be thinking. This is a very good quality post. Nice job.
